We're sharing our Q3 product roadmap in the Trello link above. We'd love your ideas.
Our focus over Q3 2018 is on community. This forum is the very first step on that path.
Some of the questions we are interested in exploring:
How can we create a stronger relationship between investors and founders?
How can we help investors feel like they are part of a community? How can they help the company and get rewarded for it?
How can we better fund good early-stage companies without large social media followings?
How can we create or support affinity groups that want to impact the world in a certain way by investing in innovation in that topic?
How can we create and support an ecosystem so others can act like a part-time VC and get rewarded for it? How can we incentivize experts to do due diligence and endorsements? How can we encourage mentors to help founders?
Some things on our short-term list
Just some of the things we are experimenting with this quarter:
Discuss. This very forum.
User Profiles. How do you want to represent yourself to others?
Funds. Allowing experts to be compensated like part-time VC's for scouting companies, doing due diligence, and mentoring.
Office Hours. Those with expertise should be able to share it, both online and offline.
Shout-Outs. Recognition when you help funds or companies.
User Following & Messaging. If users are in the same group, or follow each other, they should be able to contact each other.
Bounties. A list of all the small ways you can help founders, and a reward/perk for doing so.

249 startups have raised $83,068,424 on Wefunder
Wefunder supports three different federal laws that allow startups to raise money legally. To comply with the law, Wefunder Advisors LLC and Wefunder Portal LLC (both owned by Wefunder Inc) also list startups depending on the regulation used.
Legal May 16th 2016
Wefunder Portal LLC
for 164 startups
Wefunder Advisors LLC
for 92 startups
for 1 startup
We are the largest funding portal for Regulation Crowdfunding.
Some fine print: 1) These numbers include startups currently live on Wefunder if they pass their minimum target. 2) Some startups use two different laws at the same time (i.e., Regulation D and Regulation Crowdfunding).
XX was built by Wefunder to invest in 20,000 new founders by 2029. In all 50 states across America. Of all backgrounds.
Wefunder Inc. runs wefunder.com and xx.team and is the parent company of Wefunder Advisors LLC, an exempt reporting adviser that advises SPVs used in Reg D offerings. Wefunder, Inc. is not regulated as either a broker-dealer or funding portal and is not a member of FINRA.
